Land And Water Fun For Your Family Vacation

Posted on: 15 May 2019

Is your family headed to a lake for your 2019 summer vacation? If so, you are probably anticipating the adventure just as much as your children are. Do you have all of your plans made already? If so, you must be an organized plan-ahead type of individual. Perhaps you are still in the planning stages of the activities you'll do once you're reached your lake house destination.

If that's the case, from renting a tug boat for water fun to fun things you can do while you're ashore, here are some ideas that might help you to plan a family vacation that you and your family will never forget.

Rent A Tug Boat - If you've ever been on a tug boat in the past, renting one was probably at the top of your to-do list. If you've never even been on a tug boat, prepare for a world of fun. Maybe friends told you that they include tug boat activities when they go to the lake. Or, maybe you just saw pictures of families enjoying their time together on a tug boat. Renting a Ranger tug boat will probably be a lot less expensive than you thought it would be. And, it might be some of the best cash you'll spend on your vacation.

Just cruising on the water in the tug boat will be truly enjoyable. However, part of the fun will be fishing from your tug boat and even using it as home base for swimming activities. Do you have friends or extended family members who will be joining you for part of your vacation? Your rented tub boat will probably accommodate them, too.

Plan Shore Events - While you and your kids might want to spend most of your time in the tug boat, remember that land activities can be part of the fun of your summer vacation, too. Think of arranging a scavenger hunt where you look for things like special rock formations and unusual plants. Think of taking a telescope on your vacation, too. By doing so you can study the night skies and look for things like The Little Dipper and The Big Dipper.

Is there a town near your lake house? Consider going into town to scope out the local attractions and to maybe take in a movie and do some shopping. If there's a library in town, think of getting a library card so you can check out some books.
